Twenties Girl

Was recommended to read this book, got it from HMV at $99 for 2. Sophie's a good author but I wasn't a fan of her. But my view changed after this book "Twenties Girl". Such a lovely and warm story which accompanied me during my sleepless nights. I recommend it as well, go get it in HMV.

放學後when i was sick

病了數日，盡量都沒有出街，免得再病多兩錢。留在家中KO了一本書，是東野的＂放學後＂，認識東野的人都知他是日本數一數二的偵探小說作者，福山的伽里略都是他筆下之作。今次買了中文譯本的原因是想輕鬆地推理，看日文原本怕自己看得不夠仔細，浪費了精密的故事。總括來說，這書是關於校園的殺人事件，整體OK，唯獨結尾有點hea，令我失了望。

Not the same

Finished this book last week, "The Art of Racing in the Rain". The story is just OK, it's about the friendship between a dog and a professional racer. But I really like a few sentences from the book, especially it's from the view of a dog (haha).

"Being alone is not the same as being lonely", I cannot agree more, ENZO.

走完了的森林

終於看完了。第一次看日文的長編小說，感覺良好。挪威的森林沒有挪威，亦沒有森林，是主人公年少時的回憶。故事有高有低，有時看得差點睡著，有時則入神到不想睡。看到下集時真的有追著看的感覺，想快一點看到結局。認真說，沒有我想像中的好，但怎麼說都是名作，還是看了比較好...吧？

50% of the Norwegian Wood

Finally, I approached this book - "Norwegian Wood" "挪威的森林" by 村上春樹. I know it's so late to read this famous long fiction now, which is written in 1987. But at the same time I'm glad that I didn't read it when I was still young. It would be a waste if I did it, honestly. I think the me NOW is ready enough to read a story like this. Finished reading the first half. Japanese version again, not easy to read but not difficult. For people who can read Japanese, please read this original version instead.

告白

Many people watched 告白 movie months ago. I was still in Sapporo by that time but for some reasons, I forgot to watch it in cinema. So I bought the fiction (in Japanese of coz), and planned to read the book first before movie.

Finally I spent more than a month to finish reading it. Not because of the lauguage barrier, but as I mentioned in the last post, I was not used to read. It's really a very very very good book. The story is new, and you won't get bored. Book is way better than the movie, friends please read the Chinese version if you do like the movie.

ROOM

I hated reading. No, I shall say it in another way. Right, I was not patient in reading. It's damn difficult for me to finish one whole book. Except those from compulsory reading scheme in schools. But recently I'm so free that I "forced" myself to read books everyday. And after some time, I found that I started loving it.

This is the new book I'm reading these few days called ROOM. Bought it in Taiwan, very special one. I'm going to finish it today or tomorrow the latest. Friends are welcomed to borrow my books, but dun forget to return afterwards.
